About Kyriakos Afentoulidis
In 1998 he worked as a manager in an agricultural veterinary clinic in Corinth, where he managed a multitude of incidents. He also dealt with the implementation of epidemiological programs. During his military service (1998-99), with his veterinarian speciality, he was responsible for treating military dogs.
From 2000 to 2002 he worked at the Center of Veterinary Institutions of Athens applying microbiological tests and the ELISA method.
Since the beginning of 2001, he has been dealing with the clinical pathology of dogs and cats with a special scientific interest in Dermatology and especially in Cardiology.
He has participated in many training seminars, most recently in the United Kingdom in 2013 with distinguished cardiologists-veterinarians and at the Cardiology Department of Royal Veterinary College (RVC).
He is a member of the EKDE Hellenic Veterinary Dermatological Society and the European Society of Veterinary Cardiology-ESVC (European Society of Cardiology).
From 2008 onwards, he provides support to clinics in Athens in terms of cardiac cases. Since the beginning of 2013, he has been a partner of the “Veterinary Surgery” in the area of Nea Smyrni, where he offers services in all the fields of pathology. He supports the surgical sector, both in terms of preoperative control, as well as the treatment of critical cases. In addition, he undertakes any case that is addressed to the clinic for a first opinion, or a second one in the field of cardiology and dermatology.
From January 2021, he maintains a fully equipped clinic in the area of Nea Smyrni. He undertakes all pathological cases for obtaining a first or second opinion and cooperates with many clinics inside and outside Attiki in the fields of cardiology and dermatology.
